Mumbai: Dahanu jeweller shot at during Rs 90 lakh robbery; 3 accused arrested

A bobber allegedly fired at a jeweller when he resisted a three-member gang that stormed his shop in Dahanu and fled with gold ornaments worth around Rs 90 lakh last month.

Police have arrested all three accused and recovered jewellery worth Rs 51.51 lakh. 

The incident took place at New Laxmi Jewellers on Irani Road between 4.35 pm and 4.45 pm on July 20, said Vinay Kailas Soni, who runs the jewellery business.
