Bollywood actor Govinda accidentally shot himself in the left leg with his licensed revolver last year. His wife took a hilarious jibe at the incident when she reunited with Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera on Laughter Chefs. She was brutally trolled for not being around Govinda when the incident happened. As she is currently participating in Lock Upp, she clarified that the statement was made in a fun way, but she was brutally trolled.
Sunita Ahuja clarifies 'goli' remark
On the premiere night, the dialogue was read out by Riteish Deshmukh as it had made headlines. When Akanksha Choudhary asked her about the comment, she said, "I made a comment on the show, jab tak biwi ki sunega, tab tak ankhiyon se goli maarega. Third party ke chakkar mein aayega toh ghutno par goli khayega (As long as he listens to his wife, he'll kill with his eyes. If he gets involved with a third party, he'll get shot in the knees)."
She further clarified that it was said in a fun way and that the line was given by the writers of the show. "Why do they keep making allegations against Govinda? I'll say whatever the writer gives me. The Laughter Chefs writer gave me that dialogue."

Sunita added, "Yes, I said the statement in a fun way, but trolls do that. They can do whatever they want. I don't give a fu*k. I won't change myself for anyone. Koi kisi ko sukhi dekh nahi sakta (No one can see someone else happy.) This is what happens. People try to take advantage of you."
Sunita on reuniting with Krushna, Kashmera
She further spoke about reuniting with Krushna and shared, "When I went on Laughter Chefs, Krushna and I crossed paths again, and we patched up. I hadn't seen his children for nine years, even though I raised Krushna. It was too much. But Kashmera is a sweet girl. Usne pair pe gir ke ro ro ke maafi maangi. Main bhi khud rone lagi (She fell at my feet and apologised while crying. I started crying too)."
Talking about Sunita Ahuja, she was also seen in the Zee5 show Maa Hai Na. She has been in the news for quite some time after claiming that she and Govinda are living separately. Reports also surfaced that the couple is heading for divorce, with claims that the actor is in a relationship with a young Marathi actress.
