The woman approached the Sakinaka police station after residents allegedly mocked her in public over the viral clip, which investigators say may have been accessed and circulated by a person responsible for handling the society’s CCTV backups.

“On March 9, when the woman went to the market, some women began mocking her, saying she was the same person seen in the lift CCTV footage,” a police officer said. A young resident who was present with the women then informed her that the video had gone viral within the society.
