Rise and Fall 2 has witnessed back-to-back exits, with Karan Patel and Tej Pratap Yadav now out of the reality show. While Karan reportedly had to leave due to health concerns, Tej Pratap’s exit is linked to his political and legal commitments. Their departures come after Siwet Tomar and Anish Bhagat were eliminated earlier.
Karan Patel’s exit from Rise and Fall 2
As per a report in Film Window, Karan Patel has exited ‘Rise and Fall 2’, leaving his fans wondering about the reason behind his sudden departure. Screen has now revealed the exact cause of the actor’s exit.
According to the report, Karan did not voluntarily quit the captive reality show. Instead, he was reportedly forced to leave on medical grounds. Sources cited by Screen claim that the actor, who is diabetic, needs regular insulin doses along with several medications, and the demanding schedule of the show was reportedly taking a toll on his health.
The report further states that Karan had been feeling unwell over the past few days and underwent blood tests and other medical examinations. After his reports were reportedly found to be concerning, he was deemed medically unfit to continue participating in the show.
Reality show contracts generally require contestants who voluntarily leave to pay a penalty of Rs 2 crore. However, according to the report, an exception was made in Karan’s case as his exit was reportedly due to health concerns. The actor faced similar issues on The 50.
