An argument then ensued, with the accused demanding that the victims vacate their home. This culminated in violence, with the accused assaulting the mother and daughters in a bid to get them to leave. Hearing their cries, the boy intervened, but his arm was fractured in the scuffle
The accused
The accused are the boy’s paternal uncle, his wife and their daughters, aged between 20 and 21 years. The Nirmal Nagar police arrested two daughters on Monday, and their parents are absconding.
