Chandauli New District Magistrate Sanjeev Singh took charge by reaching the treasury at the headquarters on Saturday night. Before this, the policemen there gave him a guard of honor and after taking over from the departmental employees, he got introduced. 



Sanjeev Singh Chandauli was made the District Magistrate after the transfer of District Magistrate Navneet Singh Chahal to Mathura. Sanjeev Singh is a 2012 batch IAS. Sanjeev Singh got his first posting as District Magistrate in Fatehpur itself. 


Prior to this, Sanjeev Singh has served as SDM in Lucknow and Hardoi. Whereas Unnao and Shahjahanpur have worked as Chief Development Officer. Sanjeev Singh is basically a resident of the Jalaun district.
